The content of the pages of this website were created for marketing purposes and should be used as general information. MPU reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions or the whole of the terms of use from time to time without notice.

You will be able to obtain information about certain MPU products and services on this MPU Website and you may also submit queries to MPU to receive more information.
You undertake not to post to or send via this website any materials that are or could reasonably be construed as: (i) defamatory, libellous, obscene, offensive, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory or blasphemous; (ii) in breach of any obligation of confidence or privacy or any trade secret; (iii) infringing the proprietary rights of any third party or for which you have not obtained all necessary licences and/or approvals; or (iv) violating any other law.
Written and signed quotations submitted according to customer specifications will be construed and seen as valid for a period of 30 (thirty) days from date of quotation.
The Customer hereby acknowledge that once a quotation is accepted the same will be legal and binding.
The Customer accepts that any images of any products supplied might not be accurate and up to date and that it is the Customer responsibility to ensure that all quoted items meet all requirements the Customer has prior to accepting the quotation.
Delivery and performance times quoted are estimates and are not binding on MPU Copiers, Communications or Solutions.
All quotations are subject to the availability of equipment or services and subject to correction of good faith errors by MPU Copiers, Communications or Solutions.
All variations to the original quotation accepted by the Customer must be verified with MPU Copiers, Communications or Solutions and only on receipt in writing from MPU Copiers, Communications or Solutions will this be accepted as legal and binding.
Prices are based on hardware, software, licenses, labour, and material costs as at date of the quotation, if any of these costs are afterwards increased, for any reason whatsoever, beyond MPU Copiers, Communications or Solutions control or arising in the ordinary course of its business, then the purchase price shall be increased by the excess or if the excess cannot be determined exactly, by a reasonable allowance for it. The pricing in this proposal is based on the current rate of exchange on the date of the quotation and if a rental amount is quoted, it will be linked to prime as at date of quotation. Unless otherwise stated, the price in the quotation is in South African Rand exclusive of Value-Added Tax (hereinafter referred to as ‘VAT”).
Payment terms for cash purchases are strictly 50% (fifty percent) deposit prior to commencement of installation, and the remaining balance on completion of installation. If the Customer has been approved by a financial institution and for any reason whatsoever the pay out from the financial institution is being delayed, MPU Copiers, Communications or Solution reserves the right to invoice the Customer for interim rentals until the payment has been received from the financial institution. These interim rental invoices will have no bearing on the period of the signed rental agreement.
Notwithstanding the delivery of any components to the Customer, ownership thereof shall not pass until MPU Copiers, Communications or Solutions has received payment of the full contract price.
Subject to the point above, risk in and to the equipment or product shall pass to the Customer when the components have been delivered and installed at the Customer’s premises.
Immediately upon receipt of the hardware, software, licenses and services, the Customer will inspect the same. Any claim for shortage or defects must be made within ten (10) days after the Customer receipt of the hardware, software, licenses, and services. All other claims, including claims for alleged defective hardware, software, licenses, and services must be made within ten (10) days after the Customer learns of the facts upon which such claim is based, but in no event later than fifteen (15) days after the Customer receipt of the hardware, software, licenses, and services. All claims not made in writing and received by MPU Copiers, Communications or Solutions within the time period specified above will be deemed waived.
All equipment includes a one-year warranty as set out by the manufacturer’s warranty, which can be supplied on request.
Should it transpire that there is an error in our calculation of our proposal, for whatsoever reason, MPU Copiers, Communications or Solutions shall be entitled to recalculate the proposal accordingly.
Signed quotations being cancelled will make the Customer liable for the hardware delivery, software, licenses, installation, and hardware recovery fee as well as a 25% handling fee for all hardware, software, and licenses on-site.
Customer information are only used for purposes of completion of an order. The information shall not be shared with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order, for example where a credit facility is applied for by a customer. MPU will however not be responsible for any damages you or any third party may suffer as a result of the transmission of confidential information that you make through this website, or that you expressly or implicitly authorize or for any errors or any changes made to any transmitted information.
All intellectual property rights vested in or owned by a party or held by a party, shall remain the sole property of such party. Customers shall not be entitled to use any of the trademarks, logos, brand names, or other marks of MPU without the prior written consent of MPU.
Unless otherwise explicitly stated, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this website, materials, and any information or material contained or presented on this website is provided to you on an “as is,” basis with no warranty of implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights. We do not warrant the timelines, workmanship, or completion of any order.
Under no circumstances shall MPU be liable for any direct or indirect special, consequential, or other damage of any kind whatsoever caused by your reliance on any information obtained through this website. It is your responsibility to independently evaluate the information, advice or other content found on this website.
